Free Halloween Fun In NYC



1. Night at the Tomb - General Grant National Memorial - Celebrate Halloween with a spooky candlelight tour of the tomb with a National Park Service Ranger.

2. BAMboo! -Jurassic adventures with candy giveaways, costume contests, & games.

4. Tricks and Treats at Le Carrousel in Bryant Park - Join Clifford, the Big Red Dog at Le Carrousel's Halloween Party in Bryant Park for umpkin painting, storytime, carousel rides and magic all hosted by Flaubert Frog.

5.HALLOWEEN PARTY at The Moxie Spot - Decorate treat bags, trick or treating, and dancing!

6. Hudson River Park’s Pier of Fear - There is a Maze of Horror and the Striking Viking Story Pirates will perform a Halloween themed improv show for adults and children at 2pm and 4:30pm, both days.

Cost: FREE but tix are on a first-come basis so plan to wait and get there early.

BOO at the Central Park ZOO!



What: Boo at the Zoo!! Enjoy halloween treats, bat chats, face painting, scavenger hunt, haunted habitat show, costume contest, and animal trick or treating

Show off your Halloween duds in a costume parade beginning at the Sea Lion Pool. Children 12 and under are welcome to take part.Time: 2:15 p.m.

Learn to Ride a Bike


Bike New York has a FREE program running throughout the fall on Saturdays and specific locations. Using this "balance first" method, parents help get their children rolling while the child does most of the work. Participants learn the basics of balancing, starting, stopping, and steering a bike.

What: Learn to Ride a Bike in NYC (best for kids ages 5 and up)
When: This Saturday and through November 4th
